Salary – £20,000 – £25,000 + OTE

Our client based in central Fleet is seeking an Internal Sales Team Account Manager to join their expanding team.

Job Purpose:

To proactively manage and grow existing customer accounts, to generate new orders and income

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  1. Make outbound contact (phone or email) with a defined list of customer accounts to ensure their satisfaction and whether they have any additional requirements
  2. Keep all customer records on our CRM system (contact numbers, names and email addresses etc.) up-to-date
  3. Answer incoming reactive sales enquiries from existing or prospective customers and provide written quotations
  4. Escalate leads and opportunities that require external visits to a field-based account manager
  5. Achieve a monthly target (to be advised) for one-off sales and recurring revenue
  6. Confidently build rapport and relations with existing customer base
  7. Follow up on quotations with a view to converting to orders
  8. Seek supplier quotations to reflect customer requests/orders, ensuring they are cost and timeframe effective to the customer quotation

Additional Responsibilities & Tasks:

  1. Weekly pipeline/prospect figure reporting
  2. Attendance at weekly sales meeting
  3. Management of opportunities in CRM

Key Requirements:

  1. Strong interpersonal skills
  2. An effective communicator
  3. Excellent networking skills
  4. Computer literate
  5. Use of Microsoft Office Applications

Role is Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00 with a 30 minute lunch
