Database Administrator
Salary: up to £30,000 DOE
iRecruit specialist are recruiting for a Database Administrator based in Reading.
This is a busy role working on a variety projects to improve efficiency and productivity of teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Creating, testing and maintaining case management documents
• Creating, editing and testing SQL code and queries
• Design and update user screens
• Create and modify workflows
• Assist with creating MI data for reporting
• Creating and maintaining accurate and concise documentation
• Assist with database management
• Assist with IT user support
• Assist with helpdesk calls when required
Skills and Experience:
• Advanced IT skills
• Experience of being a “super user”
• Excellent knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (2010-2016)
• Ideally a good understanding of SQL: creating scripts and queries
• Experience of designing screens in C#, XML and Visual Studio
• Ideally experience in using Microsoft Visio for workflow design
• Excellent organizational skills
• Methodical with an eye for detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Strong problem solving/analytical skills
• Good team player
• Proactive and positive attitude
• Able to work on own initiative and to take on responsibility
