Trainee Customer Service Representative
LOCATION: Wokingham
SALARY: £18,000

iRecruit Partners are currently working with a company based in Wokingham who are looking for a Trainee Customer Service Representative to join their rapidly expanding team. Your main responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, answering customers’ incoming telephone calls and correspondence via email, dealing with customer orders, resolving any customer issues or problems to conclusion and developing/building customer relationships.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To work as part of the Customer Services team, providing a high level of customer service to internal and external customers
  • To support the Customer Experience Manager with key customer accounts and administrative tasks
  • To answer incoming calls from customers
  • To check order shipping methods, transit times and shipping costs
  • To process customer orders
  • To raise credit not requests
  • To ensure the Customer Services SLAs for incoming calls are met
  • To ensure that all personal and Customer Services targets are met
  • To uphold a flexible approach to work
  • To communicate clearly and effectively with your work colleagues, Supervisors and Managers

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • GCSE in Maths and English C grade or higher, or an equivalent qualification
  • Evidence of generalist Customer Services background from working in an office environment
  • Demonstrates an ability to be able to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers
  • Evidence of dealing with incoming customer calls
  • Evidence of dealing with written customer enquiries
  • Evidence of dealing with customer complaints
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook
  • Able to use Microsoft Excel to input data
  • Excellent communications skills, and ability to effectively resolve problems or issues
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal/communication skills to build rapport and relationships with external customers
  • Confident and clear when showing others how to do something
  • Demonstrates an ability to be able to deal/resolve problems, find solutions, before seeking help
  • Excellent attendance and time keeping
