LOCATION: Egham
SALARY: £28,000 + OTE

iRecruit Partners are currently working with a company based in Eghameg who are looking for a Telephone Business Development Manager to join their rapidly expanding team. The successful applicant will provide front line support and expertise to make it easy for mortgage intermediaries to do business. The role will also play an important part in maximizing the company’s market presence and sales opportunities via outbound telephone marketing.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop highly effective telephone relationships with mortgage intermediaries, networks, clubs and packagers, acting as an expert on products, criteria and service
  • Maximise sales in line with targets
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships, acting as an ambassador for the company and its values
  • Manage key accounts effectively to achieve KPIs across quality and quantity measures
  • Identify and maximize relationships and business development opportunities
  • Answer inbound telephone queries, acting as subject matter expert across the company proposition in addition to answering intermediary queries via the webchat portal
  • Conduct and manage the ad-hoc telephone and email campaigns to drive sales performance and act as a source of information regarding exclusive product launches, criteria changes and other details crucial to the success of your intermediary customers
  • Ensure key accounts are kept fully and promptly informed of any changes to criteria, product, service or terms via email, phone and the website
  • Assist intermediaries in the production of the European Standardised Information Sheet (ESIS) online
  • Assist in the payment of procuration fees
  • Attend relevant trade shows to represent the organisation (where required)
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including first and second mortgage sales teams, to facilitate sharing of knowledge, and best practice
  • Deliver support to field-based Key Account Managers
  • Management of intermediary profiles and data within the internal broker database

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Previous experience working in financial services
  • Strong telephone communication skills
  • A background of relationship building or client management
  • Good computer literacy especially in MS Office
  • Enthusiastic and enjoy working as part of a team
