Salary: £18,000 – £23,000 + added commission
iRecruit Partners are currently working with a company based in Wokingham who are looking for a Renewals Executive to join their team. The Renewals Executive will primarily assist existing accountancy practice customers in both renewing their software licences and in proactively introducing and promoting additional products and services to them. This will be achieved by both responding to incoming renewals/upgrade/add-on enquiries and also calling out to customers with pending renewals. By using company systems, they will recognise renewal and additional revenue opportunities and prioritise based on the businesses’ interests. The vast majority of opportunities will be taken through to order and payment by the Renewals Executive themselves, with new business opportunities being passed to the Sales person for the territory.
Additional Purposes:
- Identifying customers at risk of not renewing and taking, or facilitating, measures to retain them. At times, it may also be necessary to follow-up recently lapsed licenses and take measures to retain them or capture their reasons for moving on.

- The Renewals Executive will also assist with answering the main incoming practice Sales/Renewals line, fielding enquiries and call backs on behalf of the ‘new business’ Sales team and dealing personally with them when the relevant member of the Sales team is not available in a suitable timescale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond in a timely manner to inbound practice telephone calls and emails
- Guide existing customers through renewals, upgrades and upsell additional products and services ensuring every sales opportunity is taken
- Make proactive outbound calls to customers with pending renewals with the same objective
- Take payments as necessary
- Facilitate all appropriate measures to retain customers identified as at risk of not renewing
- Field and distribute incoming new customer enquiries to the Sales team, handling matters personally on their behalf when urgency dictates

- Relevant degree (or similar) in accountancy, tax or IT
- Accountancy or Tax qualification (or part qualification)
- Phone-based Sales or account management ideally for software and ideally B2B
- Exposure to accountancy practice in some capacity (desirable)
- Understanding of tax and accounting (desirable)
