Senior Account Manager
LOCATION: Sunningdale
SALARY: £30,000 – £40,000

iRecruit Partners are currently working with a company based in Sunningdale who are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their rapidly expanding team. They are looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Account Manager who will be able to lead across a range of B2B and B2C activity, with the skills to own, develop and manage key clients. If successful, you will be working closely with support from senior members of the agency team to develop and deliver varying projects for clients from brand development, campaigns, print and POS to digital projects from websites, Social and SEO just to name a few.

As a client facing position, you’ll have regular contact directly with your clients, taking briefs and understanding their plans. You’ll be offering strategic and consultative advice and spotting opportunities, so you’re always one step ahead. Once briefed, you’ll communicate the work to the creative teams, ensuring they deliver the work on time, on brief and on budget.

To be considered you would have come from an agency background, you will have experience dealing with clients at all levels, be a confident communicator, have good financial acumen and be able to hold your own at a senior level, never afraid to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in with the team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage multiple accounts; develop positive working relationships with all customer touch points
  • Drive client retention, renewals, upsells and client satisfaction
  • Identify new prospects and perform new business activities to convert to clients (this includes attending seminars/exhibitions and direct approach)
  • Focus on ensuring the company delivers/maintains superior customer service levels, operational excellence and strategic insight
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams to understand customer goals and key performance metrics and create plans to exceed those goals throughout the campaign
  • Manage customer activity with CRM tools for maximum efficiency and visibility, with carefully executed follow-up to establish a clear action plan for success
  • Adhere to established processes and workflows
  • Provide input on new processes and workflows as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Driving high customer service standards at all times
  • Setting and delivering against objectives and development plans
  • Developing and growing organically in existing accounts
  • Customer relationship management experience
  • Account Management of multiple projects clients
  • Confidence to spot upsell opportunities
  • New business activities and client on boarding experience
  • Negotiation of pricing and contracts
  • Strong communication skills, in person and over the phone
