Internal Sales Account Manager
Salary – £20,000 – £25,000 + OTE
Our client based in central Fleet is seeking an Internal Sales Team Account Manager to join their expanding team.
Job Purpose:
To proactively manage and grow existing customer accounts, to generate new orders and income
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Make outbound contact (phone or email) with a defined list of customer accounts to ensure their satisfaction and whether they have any additional requirements
- Keep all customer records on our CRM system (contact numbers, names and email addresses etc.) up-to-date
- Answer incoming reactive sales enquiries from existing or prospective customers and provide written quotations
- Escalate leads and opportunities that require external visits to a field-based account manager
- Achieve a monthly target (to be advised) for one-off sales and recurring revenue
- Confidently build rapport and relations with existing customer base
- Follow up on quotations with a view to converting to orders
- Seek supplier quotations to reflect customer requests/orders, ensuring they are cost and timeframe effective to the customer quotation
Additional Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Weekly pipeline/prospect figure reporting
- Attendance at weekly sales meeting
- Management of opportunities in CRM
Key Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- An effective communicator
- Excellent networking skills
- Computer literate
- Use of Microsoft Office Applications
Role is Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00 with a 30 minute lunch
