Customer Service Executive (6-month contract)

Salary: £19,000

iRecruit Partners are currently working with a company based in Bourne End who are looking for 2 Customer Service Executives to join their team on a 6 month contract (duration will depend on the requirements of the company). You will be handling a minimum of 70 incoming telephone calls a day, from the general public and corporate account customers efficiently and effectively. Checking availability and making customer bookings where necessary.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To provide a timely, responsive service with integrity, simplicity and a passion for excellence while meeting or exceeding the customer’s expectations, while maintaining all SLAs
  • To provide a high-level customer function for the company. This role will be responsible for responding in a professional and timely manner to all customer service related correspondence including telephone, email and letter
  • Responding to customer email enquiries as and when required
  • To up sell where possible to maximise on sales and upgrades
  • To escalate any complaints where necessary to Senior CS Executive or Escalated Care team
  • Ensuring that any un-resolvable supplier issues are escalated to the Senior Escalated Care Executive
  • Ensure that any call-backs or customer issues are passed to a full-time member of staff for days when not at work
  • To support the Manager in working towards ensuring the team and company targets are achieved
  • Ad-hoc administrative tasks
  • To adhere to all company regulations and guidelines
  • Once competent will be required in assisting with training of new starters

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Good communication skills with proven ability to communicate constructively with all customers
  • An attention to detail with the ability to prioritise
  • Proven experience within a Customer Service background
  • Experience of working with customer service databases or booking systems
  • Excellent knowledge of the company portfolio
  • Good level of numeracy and working knowledge of Excel
  • Very good level of written work and proficiency with Word
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively by phone and email with customers, suppliers and colleagues
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as a proactive team player with hands on approach
  • High organised, anticipating needs and over delivering wherever possible
  • Ability to adapt well to change
