Salary – £24,000 – £28,000 + 10% Bonus

iRecruit Partners are currently working with a company based in Bourne End who are looking for an Account Manager (1 year maternity contract) to manage the delivery an account management of the company’s services to key clients. You will also be planning and prioritising customer contact designed to ensure that the retention, growth and profitability of designated partners contribute towards to the requirements of the business’ income and profit target strategy.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To ensure delivery on contracted service levels on a specified number of clients. Utilising in house capabilities to meet and exceed customer expectations. To work closely with the Head of Account Management and Sales Team to identify new revenue opportunities within existing clients
  • To work closely with internal departments to ensure successful delivery against contracted service levels
  • To contribute to the renewals process and support the business on ensuring long term relationships with key clients
  • Liaise with clients and Operations team to provide accurate stock management ensuring the products are packed on time and into contracted gift packs
  • Liaising with Digital Managers and Offline Sales Managers and their teams to ensure the client KPI’s are met
  • Maintain necessary administration and relevant reporting/planning systems required to meet the objectives of the business
  • Undertake a key role within nominated accounts and having responsibility for the day to day management and development of relationships within the nominated accounts
  • Fully understand the channels within the company to deliver maximum benefit to the customers and profitability
  • Manage communications internally in respect of key client activities and campaigns
  • Communicate and liaise both internally and externally as required to Senior Manager level using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
  • Communicate business and wider corporate image and reputation internally and externally to protect and promote the corporate brand for the benefit of the company, its employees and customers
  • Undertake and analyse market research internally or with external suppliers to substantiate the effectiveness of programmes

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely to individuals, adapting communication style, amount and format based upon the level of seniority and/or understanding of the audience
  • Possess good communication and influencing skills both written and spoken. Ability to communicate at senior management level
  • Able to be a credible representative of the company with the in-depth knowledge of both the market and company
  • Ability to motivate individuals within other departments as necessary to delivery objectives/requirements within agreed timescales
  • To be an excellent team player who is flexible and have empathy with colleagues whilst maintaining the focus necessary to achieve the required objectives established
  • Required to have a high level of customer focus, being able to empathise with them and be diplomatic/tactful when communicating with them
  • Be passionate about the products, services and the business
  • Good level of analytical and numerical ability. Able to analyse data, make inferences, draw conclusions and make recommendations for Senior Management
  • Good level of IT literacy – Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to learn different IT packages as required
  • Good knowledge of market, market sector requirements and competitors
  • Ideally, 2 plus years account management/development experience
  • Demonstration of excellent customer relationships
